Then, as today, the "Mother Grain of the Incas" — quinoa (keen-wa) — is revered here for its incredible nutritional value and wonderful nutty taste. Which inspired us to bring this amazing superfood to you in our Cuzco Whole Grain Blend, along with long grain brown rice and a mixture of organic herbs and spices. If you like quinoa, you might even want to grow it at home. It doesn't need much water. Average soil is fine. So all you really need is a garden that's 9000 feet or so above sea level. Hmmm.
