Seeds of Change is over-the-top passionate about preserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable organic agriculture — a rapidly growing field that holds great importance for our future.
To stay on the cutting edge of sustainable organic farming and gardening, we conduct extensive trials and other investigations on our Research Farm, study the available literature and interact one-to-one with organic gardeners and farmers.
While our focus is on our organic seeds and foods, we also feel an urgency to share other ways we can bring "organic" into our lives. To that end, you'll find a number of sections in "Organic Living" that are quite different from other sections of our site:

Each year at the Seeds of Change Research Farm and Gardens we grow over a thousand varieties of plants. In close collaboration with our extensive network of certified organic seed growers and plant breeders, we cultivate, study, refine, and expand the broad genetic diversity that we offer.

Freeing America from a nasty chemical dependency — an addiction to toxic pesticides, petrochemical fertilizers and laboratory-engineered seed strains...

In 1989, Seeds of Change started with a simple mission: to help preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable, organic agriculture. By cultivating hundreds of open-pollinated, organically grown, heirloom and traditional vegetable, flower and herb seeds, we have kept to this mission.
